St Venera Girl Guides Celebrate 30 Years Of Guiding By Planting 16 Trees At Local Gardens
16 trees were planted by the young Santa Venera Girl Guides in celebration of the 30 years of friendship, learning and community development.
Excitement filled the air of the Romeo Romano Gardens in St Venera, in late October as member of the Guides gathered for the tree-planting ceremony.
“They stand as reminders of the strong roots established over three decades and the organisation’s commitment to making a positive difference in the world,” the Leaders of the Girl Guides expressed in an official statement.

The planting was set to be a showcase of the ongoing commitment to nurturing the environment and a symbol of the ever-growing support the members have for one another.
One young member even wholesomely reflected that “like this young tree, each of us is growing, reaching for the sky, and becoming stronger with each passing day.”
Well done to the Girl Guides for this outstanding initiative!
