The Malta Social Impact Awards is back with a bang and applications are now open.
The Malta Social Impact Awards gives the opportunity to non-profit organisations, individuals, social entrepreneurs and innovators to win both financial and non-financial support to help create a sustainable initiative which will have a positive social impact in Malta.
The fight against poverty and suffering, education, the empowerment of marginalised communities or minorities, the environment and health are just some examples of social categories participants can focus on.
Everyone who is shortlisted will receive group mentoring sessions with TAKEOFF at the University of Malta to help them prepare for the semi-finals in November. The winners will be awarded with a grant and further mentoring.
Louisa Attard, CEO of Inspirasia Foundation said: “It is important to start realising that to create real social change we need to connect businesses and executives to change-makers. The Malta Social Impact Awards brings the two groups together to give and give well while acknowledging the change-makers that are making a difference and creating an impact”.
