‘The Reward Is Now €1,000’: Mosta Student Receives Financial Support In Search For Stolen Laptop

Following his plea to find his stolen laptop, Leon Farrugia announced that there is a €1,000 reward should it be returned.

“As things stand, it seems that someone whom I am 99.9% sure has seen my plea has decided to keep the laptop while being aware of the situation I am in,” Farrugia shared on Facebook.

Leon works as a barman at Mosta Football Club and was cleaning the bar during a football game when his laptop was stolen.

The laptop contains Leon’s entire master’s thesis which is due next week and is crucial for his graduation.

Leon thanked everyone for the support that he received since he asked the public for help and he also said that he will be working “day and night” to finish off his thesis and graduate.

“It is difficult but not impossible, and with this motivation, I can do it!”

Farrugia also shared that the reward is now a €1,000 thanks to singer Joseph Calleja and others who wanted to remain anonymous.

Leon also added that there is a priest who the person can contact on 79486680 to return the laptop where the person can remain anonymous.

The laptop can also be returned on the following address and send it anonymously without the sender’s details on Mosta Football Ground; Apartment 1, Mosta Ground, Triq il-Manwella, Mosta MST 4085.
