Two Children And Two Women Reportedly Hospitalised After Three Car Collision In Għarb

A collision between three cars in Għarb has led to at least two women and two chidren reportedly being rushed to Gozo General Hospital.
Initial reports indicate that the three cars collided around 2pm today at Triq L-Għarb.
A Mitsubishi Lancer being driven by a 36-year-old male from Għarb collided with a Peugeot 508 being driven by a 56-year-old male from Għajnsielem and a Nissan Qashqai being driven by a 31-year-old female from Għajnsielem.
A 29-year-old passenger in the Mitsubishi and the 31-year-old driver of the Nissan were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries. It was reported that two children who were passengers in the Mitsubishi were also taken to hospital, although a police spokesperson was unable to independently confirm this, though he didn't rule it out.
The condition of the injured parties is as yet unknown, as is the reason for the collision. The collision is the latest in a week full of tragic car crashes to hit the Maltese Islands.
