Two men were rushed to hospital after being involved in a boat crash early this morning in Marfa.

The two men were certified to have sustained grievous injuries after their boat hit the wall of the Ramla Bay hotel at a high speed at 5am this morning, TVM reported.

Officers from the Rapid Intervention Unit were called in for assistance, as well as police officers from the Qawra police station and members of the AFM. The two men were found floating in the sea, with one man found to be unconscious.

Their boat had flipped over in the crash.

The men were taken by ambulance to hospital where their injuries were confirmed.
