Watch: Attempted Break-in In Valletta Family Home
In a shocking post, a masked man caught on CCTV could be seen attempting to break-in in a Valletta home on Monday night.
Using a crowbar, he can be seen checking the doors then violently smashing in and shortly after fleeing from the scene.

“Valletta, in 2024. Masked men from head-to-toe, attacking our property with a crowbar in the middle of a Monday night. Our guests staying one flight of stairs up had the shock of their lives, on their last night in Malta. My family & I, a couple of floors up, haven’t been able to properly sleep since,” owner Chris Briffa wrote on Facebook.
“Was it an attempted break-in or a direct attack? We will probably never know. The two cowards ran off when the lights from the guests’ bedroom came on. I have lived in valletta for almost 25 years, in a safe environment, sometimes not even locking our front doors. Not any more it seems,” he continued.
“Valletta’s Degeneration takes new heights,” the Valletta resident concluded.
