Watch: Colombian Fabian Eliuth Garcia Pleads Not Guilty To Killing Sliema Murder Victim Sandra Ramirez

Fabian Eliuth Garcia, the  39-year-old man who turned himself in to police after the killing of 43-year-old Sandra Ramirez yesterday, has pleaded not guilty to the murder. 

Arraigned before Magistrate Elaine Rizzo, Garcia is being represented by legal aid lawyer Julia Micallef Stafrace. As reported by TVM News, Inspector Wayne Camilleri informed the court that around 6.15am, Garcia went to the Sliema police station and with his phone used an application to translate from Spanish to English.

On the application, there was written “ I murdered my ex partner in an argument inside my home.” Garcia also wrote the address of the apartment and gave the police a key where they found Ramirez with multiple stab wounds.

Magistrate Elaine Rizzo ordered for Garcia to remain detained.
