Watch: Gozo Collision Leaves 56-Year-Old Man Grievously Injured
A 56-year-old man from Victoria, Gozo was grievously injured in a traffic accident yesterday afternoon.
Police were informed of a traffic accident Triq il-Kapuċċini yesterday at 4pm.
Upon surveying the site, they discovered that a Nissan Almera driven by a 56-year-old man and a Renault Megane driven by a 19-year-old boy from Xewkija crashed.
Footage captured by talk.mt shows both cars completely battered.
A 14-year-old girl from Għajnsielem was a passenger in the Renault.
A medical team assisted the older man before he was taken to the Gozo General Hospital where his grievous injuries were certified.
Police investigations are currently ongoing.
