WATCH: Hooded Thief Caught Redhanded In Rabat And Swears As He Is Chased Down The Street
A video of a man chasing a would-be thief down the street in the Tal-Virtu area of Rabat after catching him trying to break into a house is going viral on social media.
The video, which was filmed by a Rabat resident, shows a hooded man dressed in black running down the street and swearing at the man behind the camera, who repeatedly calls him a thief.
“Leave me alone, I didn’t take anything from you,” the hooded man can be heard saying, to which the filmer responds: “But you were trying to steal.”
At one point, the robber grabs a stick and throws it at the resident to try and scare him off. As he continues to tail the would-be thief, the resident calls the police to report the attempted robbery, also informing them of the number plate of the car the hooded the man got in to flee the scene.
