WATCH: Man Violently Mugged In Attack Near University In Msida
Video has emerged showing a man getting violently attacked in a mugging in Msida late on Friday.
The video shows two unidentifiable men first punching the unsuspecting victim repeatedly before tackling him to the ground and making off with his keys, phone, and money.
The attack took place on Triq Paolo Debono, just around the corner from the University of Malta.
Speaking to Lovin Malta, the Maltese man described how he was walking home after work at 10pm when the two caucasian men attacked him.
He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital suffering with whiplash, bruising to his back, and a busted lip. CT scans and X-rays have cleared him of any other serious injury.
Police are investigating the case.
