WATCH: Massive Fire Breaks Out On Yacht In Heart Of Kalkara Marina

A massive plume of smoke could be seen over the Kalkara Marina after a fire broke out on at least one yacht.
Police have confirmed that a fire has erupted in the Marina, though it is as yet unknown whether anyone was injured by the flames, or indeed how many yachts are involved. It seems like the yacht may have been moved outside the heart of the marina and into the Grand Harbour due to the fire.
Calls to the Kalkara Marina have remained unanswered.
TVM reported that two yachts caught on fire, with one sinking due to the fire. Two people were injured by the explosion, and were given medical assistance by ambulances who were called onto the scene.
