A PN MEP candidate and a local council candidate have taken it upon themselves to discover the answer to one of the most important questions of our time: whether former Italian football administrator Luciano Moggi actually lives in Gżira or not.

During one of their house visits as part of the pair’s #OnTheGround campaign, Sliema’s Michael Briguglio and Gżira’s Jeremy Cardona happened to come across the address where Moggi was allegedly residing.

“This is where Luciano Moggi lives,” said Michael Briguglio while pointing out the Italian’s alleged doorbell.

After pressing the bell twice for good measure, the pair get no answer

“It looks like Luciano Moggi isn’t here,” Briguglio continues. “Maybe we will find him another time. What do you think Jeremy, will we find him another time?

“It doesn’t seem like it, because on the letterbox there’s addresses of a lot of different people,” Cardona said.

“Hmm, orrajt, mela m’hemmx tagħmel,” responded the MEP hopeful.

Moggi’s personal details were recently leaked ahead of the upcoming elections, leading to the Data Protection Commissioner announcing a formal investigation

However, with Briguglio and Cardona on the ground, we might soon discover a whole lot more than any investigation could ever figure out – whether Moggi was even here or not.
