Watch: Rental Car Drives Completely Wrong Way Into Sliema Ferries Main Road
What appears to be a rental car was spotted making a very dangerous maneuver after it drove completely the wrong way into one of Sliema’s busiest roads this morning.
The white car was seen earlier today at around 11am turning into Triq ix-Xatt in Sliema, leaving onlookers shocked and confused.
In a video shared with Lovin Malta capturing the confused driver, a woman can be heard saying “no” repeatedly, followed by “that’s not okay”.
The car proceeds to drive into the lane which is supposed to be for oncoming traffic. Thankfully, no collisions occurred.
This is far from the first time that similar rental cars have been seen driving the wrong way in Malta, with previous dashcam footage capturing similar ordeals.
