Servizzi Ewropej F’Malta (SEM) and Business First are proud to announce a partnership that will further aid with the accessibility of EU funds for small businesses.

Executive Heads of SEM and Business First, Rodrick Zerafa and Marika Tonna, respectively, signed an agreement that allows new or currently growing businesses a better service when accessing EU funding, yesterday morning.

The agreement entails that officials from the SEM would directly inform and assist employees of Business First when new opportunities arise in relation to European funding schemes, allowing for a more streamlined and informative service for businesses.

The collaboration is said to also benefit SEM by getting better insight into the needs of local businesses allowing it to allocate the most relevant funding schemes they would require.

During the signing, Principal Permanent Secretary, Tony Sultana, was also present alongside Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects, Nancy Caruana, and Permanent Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister, Johnathan Vassallo.

Business First continues to strive as a primary contact for local businesses and with the newfound partnership, any aspiring entrepreneurs out there can rest easy knowing that the right services are out there.
