The owner of Ħamrun cafeteria Tazza Té has appealed to the public for help after her business was robbed in the early hours of the morning.

Rachel Borg published CCTV footage of a man in a cap breaking into her cafeteria and said she will offer a reward to anyone who can identify him.

Let’s help our community remain safe as tomorrow it could be anyone of us who can be robbed,” she said.

Borg told Lovin Malta that CCTV footage caught the thief hovering around the area for around an hour, before breaking into the cafeteria at around 12:10am. The window was closed but the thief managed to open it, likely using a metal rod.

He stayed inside the cafeteria for around ten minutes and walked off with their Bolt and Wolt iPads as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
