Winds Set To Bump Up To Force 7 As Cold And Rain Persist Over The Weekend

Who ordered rain with a side of rain?
These next few days are looking gloomy, starting off with isolated showers set to sprinkle over the island and up to 55% chance of rain forecasted for today.
We hope a bit of chill and drizzle doesn’t foil your weekend plans as Friday is on the course for more rain – up to an 80% chance – which would possibly be worsened by winds up to Force 6/7 and potential gusts at Force 9.
And brace yourselves, because there’s reason to believe that thunder and lightning might be accompanying the gusts and rain tomorrow.
These showers are set to persist over Saturday and Sunday, with potential decrease on Saturday, but a possible uptick at the end of the weekend.
Temperatures, on the other hand, will remain chilly all throughout, dropping as low at 10°C, throughout the course of the next seven days.
But hey, at least we won’t get thunder all weekend long, right?
