Woman Grievously Injured With Glass Bottle After Resisting Two Men From Robbing Her In Msida
A woman was left with grievous injuries after being bottled while resisting a robbery.
At around 11:50pm last night, police were called to Testaferrata Street, Msida. Police found the injured woman of German nationality, who said two men had allegedly tried to steal her bag. The woman said she had not allowed them to take her bag and resisted, whereupon the men used a glass bottle to hit her, injuring her.
The aggressors then fled the scene.
An ambulance was called on site to the victim to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment. Later, she was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
