Woman Injured After Being Run Over By Her Own Car On The Coast Road

A 32-year-old woman from Nadur, Gozo has been taken to hospital after being injured in an incident involving her own car on the Coast Road.

Police confirmed that the injured woman had forgotten to pull up the handbrake of her car after parking on a slope on the Coast Road. Upon exiting the car, which was a Peugeot 807, the vehicle started rolling towards her, eventually running over her foot.

Police were informed to the accident at around 9:15am.

An ambulance was called to the scene to assist the woman, before she was taken to hospital. Her condition is as yet unknown.
