Woman Suffers Serious Injuries In Traffic Accident

A 57-year-old German woman suffered serious injuries earlier today.

At around 1:15pm, the police were informed of a traffic accident at Xatt Pinto, Floriana.

Police officers immediately went on site, and preliminary investigations showed the woman was hit by a Toyota Ractis driven by a 52-year-old man from Ħaż-Żabbar.

A medical team was called to the scene, and the woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
