Women’s Polo Match To Raise Funds For Breast Cancer Awareness
The Malta Polo Club will host a women’s polo match, Polo for a Cause, at the Malta Equidrome in Marsa tomorrow 26th October to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.
This charity event is in partnership with Donna Europa Malta, a local NGO focused on breast cancer awareness.
This event aligns with the Pink October campaign, where both teams, Team Dean Gera and Team Marion Mizzi, will compete in an all-ladies match designed to spotlight breast cancer awareness and provide an exciting day of sport.
The public is invited to attend free of charge and enjoy welcome drinks at 11:30 am, with the match starting at noon.
Following the game, spectators can attend the presentation of the cup to the winning team and participate in a raffle offering prizes from local sponsors, including spa vouchers, beauty treatments, and a hotel stay.
All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Donna Europa Malta to support breast cancer awareness and support services.
Additionally, an optional BBQ lunch will be served at 2pm near the polo field for a fee.
To conclude the event, the Malta Polo Club Clubhouse will host an after-party with music from DJ Marcela, starting at 5pm.
This is an inclusive and accessible event that aims to continue to raise awareness for breast cancer.
