Xjenza Malta Joins IAF: Boosting Malta’s Space Innovation
Xjenza Malta proudly participated in the prestigious International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2024, held in Milan, Italy, between the 14-15th October 2024. The IAC is one of the leading global events for the Space industry. As a highlight of the event, Xjenza Malta was officially recognised as a new member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF).
This membership places Xjenza Malta among an elite global network of over 500 organisations from 77 countries, including renowned space agencies such as the European Space Agency (ESA), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), and the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), alongside top universities and major space companies.
By joining the IAF, Xjenza Malta is now gaining exclusive access to a prestigious community that promotes international collaboration and drives cutting-edge advancements in space technology and policy. This affiliation has been sought by way of enhancing Malta’s international visibility and presence onto the European and global Space networks as mandated within the implementation measures of Malta’s Space Strategy.
