Young Motorcyclist Left With Grievous Injuries After Car Crash In Marsa

A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Bormla has been taken to Mater Dei hospital with grievous injuries after being involved in an accident this morning at 6:45am in Triq l-Għassara tal-Għeneb in Marsa.
For some reason there was an impact between a Toyota Vitz driven by a 30-year-old woman from Pembroke and the 26-year-old’s Yamaha motorcycle, resulting in the injuries to the man.
Police were called to the scene where the man was certified with grievous injuries and taken by ambulance for treatment.
10 people have already died in 2018 in Malta due to traffic accidents, with almost 15,000 traffic accidents happening last year – 19 of them being fatal.
