A young woman has been left with grievous injuries after a car accident at 1am this morning.

The woman, a 21 year old resident of Attard, was driving a Fiat 500 on Triq R. Caruana Dingli in San Gwann when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into parked car.

The ambulance and police were immediately on the scene.

Investigations are underway.
