Youth Group Teams Up with Siġġiewi Council For Community Cleanup
A youth-led initiative in Siġġiewi turned into a full-blown community effort this week, as local volunteers joined forces with the Siġġiewi Local Council to improve the cleanliness and environment of the area.
The event even drew the attention of Opposition Leader Alex Borg, who joined in to show that everyone can play a part in making a difference.
Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, litter and waste were removed from the streets and open spaces of Siġġiewi, giving the community more room for greenery, including trees and other plants.
