Statute (The Rule Book)

1. Name

Lovin Malta (LM)

2. Mission statement

This political party has been set up with the sole purpose of improving the lives of the people of the Maltese islands.

3. Membership rights

Party members are expected to support and help further the values and objectives of the party. Party membership is automatic with any donation above €10. Members are free to stop being members of the party through a written statement. All paying members will have an equal say in choosing the leaders of this organisation. 
The party vows to remain close to all its members through the use of real time mobile polling. The members are empowered to call a leadership election and take votes on the party’s structure and statute when at least 65% of the members demand it. 

Party members can be formally dismissed if they lose their sense of humour or national pride. Other matters may also from time to time merit a formal dismissal by the party.


4. Structure

The party shall at all times have a leader, a treasurer and a legal officer. The party may also form an executive committee to manage party affairs.

5. Party finances

Any funds raised or expenses made by the party will be logged officially and made public in real time online, as well as annually through its audited accounts. 

6. Purpose

The party is committed to five simple principles: innovation, transparency, liberty, the protection of the environment and maintaining a healthy quality of life.

7. Other matters

All other matters are to be decided in the first annual general meeting of the party.
