Divers are being advised to avoid the central roads of Buġibba after a fire broke out in a block of apartments in Triq l-Isponoz, just off the main road of the town.

Police confirmed that a fire started at 8am, though it is as yet unknown what started it nor how large it became. Members of the Civil Protection Department were on the scene to put out the fire, with a series of fire engines blocking the road as they combat the flames.
