The list is made up of 24 stunning countries and cities that Bloomberg urged its readers to visit.

Malta sits on the list alongside Busan in South Korea, Boston, Las Vegas, Montecito, and Aspen in the United States, Argentina, Hong Kong, Bergen, Quito, Transylvania, San Sebastian, Belfast, Lima, Morocco, Palau, and more.

The article titled “Where to Go in 2024” recommends Malta as a travel destination this year. It explained that visitors have the opportunity to the iconic filming locations of movies like Gladiator and Troy, as well as the widely loved series Game of Thrones. However, if you’re not a cinephile, worry not, Malta also offers a rich historical tapestry and relaxing seaside locations.

Bloomberg further acknowledged Malta’s International Contemporary Art Space as Europe’s most significant museum and encouraged travellers to visit the island between March and May when it will be hosting the Malta Biennale with the theme White Sea and Olive Groves.

Bloomberg foresees 2024 as a year that will break records in the travel industry. According to the International Air Transport Association, an estimated 4.7 billion individuals are expected to travel by air this year, contributing an impressive $964 billion solely from air travel.
