‘Malta Needs And Deserves Justice’: Repubblika Reacts To Yorgen Fenech’s Bail

Repubblika issued a brief statement following the news that Yorgen Fenech has been released on bail.

“Repubblika considers it a failure of a Maltese state that, more than five years after his arrest, there is still no date for Yorgen Fenech’s trial,” the statement reads.

“We express our concern that this has also led to Yorgen Fenech no longer being held in custody while awaiting trial.”

“We remain hopeful that this failure will be rectified immediately. Malta needs and deserves justice.”
