Malta Public Transport Investigating Altercation Between Bus Driver And Man In The Middle Of Flyover
Malta Public Transport (MPT) is investigating the man who stopped a Tallinja bus in the middle of the Luqa flyover demanding to get on.
Footage posted by Lovin Malta from Sunday evening shows an altercation between a bus driver and a man who wanted to get on the vehicle despite being nowhere near a bus stop. Drivers are only permitted to open the doors at designated stopping places.
The driver can be heard refusing to do this as the man shouts at him and eventually starts slamming on the windscreen.
A spokesperson of MPT told the newsroom that the incident was reported to the authority’s control room and an investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, a representative of the Malta Police Force confirmed that no reports were lodged to the police.
