Malta Records 115 New COVID-19 Cases And 128 Recoveries Overnight

Malta recorded 115 new COVID-19 cases and 128 recoveries in the past 24 hours, bringing the country’s active virus cases down to 1,407.
The country recorded no new COVID-19 related deaths.
Earlier today, a nurse became the first person in Gozo to get inoculated against COVID-19.
The nurse received the vaccine this morning in the presence of Prime Minister Robert Abela, Health Minister Chris Fearne and Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri and the event was live-streamed on official government pages.
2,797 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. This means that a total of 508,856 swab tests have been conducted in Malta since the country saw its first case of COVID-19.
