Malta Records 174 New COVID-19 Cases And 93 Recoveries In The Past 24 Hours

174 new cases of COVID-19 and 93 recoveries were recorded in Malta in the past 24 hours.

This brings the country’s total number of active cases up to 1,929.

Earlier today, a 75-year old man passed away after testing positive for COVID-19, bringing Malta’s virus death toll up to 70.

Yesterday was a particularly bad day for COVID-19 deaths, with the virus claiming four lives in less than 24 hours.

2,842 swab tests were conducted in Malta in the past day, meaning that a total of 351,992 swab tests have been conducted since the first case of COVID-19 in Malta.

Today’s cases are still being investigated.
