Malta To Send Record-Breaking Scout Contingent To 2027 World Jamboree In Poland

The Scout Association of Malta is officially sending its largest-ever contingent to the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland, set to take place in 2027.
A total of 426 members, including 244 Scouts and Guides aged between 14 and 18, along with 182 Adult Leaders, will represent Malta on the world stage.
Led by Head of Contingent Timmy Cutugno and Deputy Head David Grech, the Maltese team includes members from 34 different local groups and will be joined by participants from the Malta Girl Guides as part of the official contingent.
“This is a momentous occasion,” Cutugno said. “It’s a testament to the dedication of our leaders and the passion of our young Scouts.”
“The Jamboree is more than just an event, it’s a life-changing experience for our Scouts. It offers them the chance to engage with different cultures, develop resilience, and embrace the spirit of Scouting on an international scale. We are excited to see the positive impact this will have on our young members,” Grech added.
The World Scout Jamboree is the largest global youth gathering, bringing together thousands of Scouts from more than 175 countries for two weeks of adventure, skill-building, and cultural exchange.
As the countdown to 2027 begins, the Scouts and Guides will be undergoing training, leadership workshops and community initiatives to make the most of their experience and represent Malta with pride.
