Accepting the accolades on behalf of AX Group, Denise Xuereb, Director of Construction and Development, expressed pride in the team’s achievement.
“These awards are a testament not only to AX ODYCY’s unique design but also to the dedication of everyone who worked to bring this vision to life,” Xuereb shared, adding that the international recognition reinforces AX ODYCY’s ambition to exceed expectations.
AX ODYCY, a premier 4-star hotel in Qawra, blends contemporary design with inspired architecture, drawing on dynamic travel spaces like airports and cruise liners.
This sense of adventure is woven into its spaces and offerings, from adults-only dining at Minoa Mediterranean Fusion to the vibrant Medusa Sky Bar and family-favourite Trattoria Riccardo.
Under the direction of Claire Zammit Xuereb, Director of Hospitality, and Denise Xuereb, AX ODYCY has undergone a remarkable transformation since its days as the Suncrest Hotel, building on a vision to create unforgettable guest experiences. “AX ODYCY isn’t just a hotel—it’s a destination,” said Claire Zammit Xuereb, noting that the awards validate a vision that beautifully fills a gap in the market.
“We’re thrilled that our work is recognised at this level, and the future of ODYCY looks incredibly bright.”
Now short-listed for a European win to be announced in December, AX ODYCY may go on to compete in the International Property Awards for global recognition as one of the world’s best properties.
