Malta’s COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 76 After 91-Year-Old Woman Dies

A 91-year-old Maltese woman has died of COVID-19, bringing the country’s total death toll up to 76.

Health authorities revealed that the woman was confirmed positive on 31st October 2020.

She passed away earlier today at the Good Samaritan Hospital.

Malta’s active COVID-19 cases stand at 1965 after 146 new patients and 168 new recoveries were announced yesterday.

Malta has insisted a number of measures to combat the spread with six-person limits in public and the mandatory wearing of face masks now in place.
