A motorcyclist has been left battling serious injuries after a late-night collision with another vehicle.

At 1:30 am, the 35-year-old man from Naxxar was driving along Triq Għajn Tuffieħa in St Paul’s Bay when he collided with a 21-year-old driver from Swieqi.

Police officers and an ambulance were immediately called the scene.

The motorcyclist is currently at Mater Dei Hospital receiving the necessary care for his critical injuries.

Investigations are on-going.
