Maltese Photographer’s Elegant Shots Featured In Vogue Arabia
Maltese fashion photographer Stephanie Galea has been working in the fashion and advertising industry for a few years. However, her VOGUE Arabia debut this month has people really taking notice.
Shot in a luxury resort in the middle of the Qasr Al Sarab desert near the Saudi border, Stephanie was commissioned by VOGUE Arabia to cover the 10th anniversary show of gown-designer Ash Studio. And her shots are stunning.
“It was my first job for them so I had to do a good job,” Stephanie told Lovin Malta. “It was very hot and we were shooting mostly between 2 – 4pm (in 45 degree heat) and I wasn’t given the models for more than 30 mins which made the job harder.”
After seeing the first shots, the editor had her stay on longer to take more photos. As a result her piece changed to 8 pages instead of 4.
The response has been phenomenal, and she’s since been commissioned again so you’ll be seeing more of her work in upcoming issues.
Stephanie is currently working for different magazines in Dubai, while also spending time with her family who are based there. I would bet it’s not long before we are seeing her name again.
