Maltese Sisters’ Roleplaying Game Flabbergasted! Gets Three Nominations At ENNIE Awards 2023
Flabbergasted!, a comedic TableTop RolePlaying Game (TTRPG) developed by Maltese sisters Fleur and Chelsea Sciortino of The Wanderer’s Tome, has earned three nominations at the ENNIE Awards 2023: Best Art Interior, Best Game, and Product of the Year.
The internationally recognised ENNIE Awards celebrate excellence in tabletop roleplaying gaming, with fans set to vote for their favourite TTRPGs across 22 categories.
The Sciortino sisters, known for their diverse and inclusive gaming content, started their journey in October 2021 with a successful Kickstarter launch for Flabbergasted!
Their game has since seen broad distribution, with over 4,000 copies in four different languages currently in circulation.
The ENNIE Awards are renowned for giving recognition to game designers, writers, and artists in the role-playing game industry, with the award ceremony hosted at the international gaming convention, Gen Con.
The ENNIE selection process comprises two rounds, with publishers submitting their products for nomination which are then assessed by democratically elected judges.
The second round involves public voting for the nominated products. The awards process, underpinned by strict ethical guidelines, ensures the shortlisting of only the very best submissions, making nominations an achievement in themselves.
