Maltese Teenager Rushed To Hospital After Shock Car Crash In Ħal-Far

A 19-year-old Maltese youth has been hospitalised following a car collision in Ħal-Far.

The crash happened at around 7am this morning, and involved two cars, a Volkswagen Golf driven by the 19-year-old, who lives in Żabbar, and an Isuzu Elf driven by a 60-year-old man who lives in Birżebbuġa.

An ambulance was called onto the scene and the teenager rushed to hospital for treatment where he was confirmed to have slight injuries. The 60-year-old man was not injured in the crash.

Following the crash, drivers were warned to drive extra carefully in the area as oil had been spilt onto the road in the collision.

Investigations are continuing.
