Man Armed With Knife Steals Cash From Luqa Shop During Late-Night Theft
A man armed with a knife stole money from a shop in Luqa during a late-night theft.
Police confirmed that the man went into the shop at around 10pm last night, along Triq Wesgħet il-Vittmi tal-Gwerra in Luqa.
He demanded cash from the cashiers, a 38-year-old cashier from Bormla and a 16-year-old woman from Fgura.
He fled the scene shortly after he stole an amount of cash from the shop.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
Police investigations to find the man is ongoing.
Magistrate Rachel Montebello is leading an inquiry.
