Man Arrested For Trio Of Robberies In Sannat
A Serbian man was arrested in connection with three robberies from residences in Sannat – the town in which he lives.
Victims of the robberies had their personal belongings, cash, jewellery, and electronics stolen.
Police received reports of the thefts in recent weeks which sparked investigations and resulted in the arrest of the 40-year-old in his home.
According to the police, these investigations lasted just a few days before they were able to identify the alleged criminal.
Searches carried out in the man’s residence revealed items that had been stolen.
The man is expected to be brought to the courts of Gozo at around 6pm today before Police Magistrate Brigitte Sultana.
