An elderly man is at risk of dying after falling off a ladder in Marsaxlokk yesterday evening.

Police were informed at around 7.15pm that a man had been transported to Mater Dei Hospital after an incident occurred along Triq Axtart, Marsaxlokk.

Police were told that the 78-year-old man had fallen from a ladder just a few moments before.

Shortly after, it was certified that he’s suffering from serious injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing
