Man At Risk Of Dying After Accident In Luqa Scrap Yard
A man is at risk of dying after an accident while operating machinery in a scrap yard in Luqa.
Police said in a statement that the incident happened at around 10.30am in a scrap yard along Triq Valletta.
The man, a 29-year-old Malian national who lives in Isla, fell from machinery he was operating on in the yard.
He was rushed to hospital and has been certified as suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Magistrate Donatella Frendo Dimech is leading an inquiry. Police investigations are ongoing.
