A man is battling for his life after a fall in Floriana. 

Police said in a statement that the man, aged 61, was walking in Sa Maison Gardens at rouhgly 9.,15pm. and fell from a height, landing along Triq Sa Maison. 

The man, who is a resident of Rabat, was taken to hospital.

Magistrate Doreen Clarke is leading an inquiry while police investigations are underway.
