Man Critically Injured After Argument In Birżebbuġa
A man was critically injured in a fight in Birżebbuġa yesterday evening.
Police officials were informed of the argument at around 7.30pm and when they arrived on site, they found a man whose identity is still unknown, unconscious on the floor with injuries to his head.
Soon, he received medical treatment before being taken to Mater Dei by ambulance where he was certified with serious injuries.
It turned out that the man had gotten into an argument with a 34-year-old man who resides in Santa Luċija. He is currently being held by the police to assist in investigations.
The incident occurred on Triq San Edwardu.
Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia opened an inquiry while police investigations are ongoing.
Meanwhile, another argument broke out yesterday at around 6pm in Mosta, however, those involved were grievously and slightly injured.
