A man has died after being stabbed at least three times during an argument that broke out in Marsa this evening. 

Earlier today, police spokesperson Brandon Pisani confirmed with ONE News that the man, who was identified as an Egyptian national, was stabbed during an argument that broke out between a number of people at Triq is-Salib, Marsa at around 6:30pm. 

He confirmed that the man had been stabbed at least three times.

The victim was hospitalised but later succumbed to his injuries. 

Police have arrested a man and magistrate Caroline Farrugia Frendo is conducting an inquiry.
