Man Dies After Colliding With Two Parked Cars In Early Morning Rabat Crash

A man has lost his life after crashing into two parked cars in an early morning collision in Rabat.

At around 12:30am, police were informed that an incident had occurred in George Borg Olivier Street, Rabat.

When officers arrived on scene, it was established that a 60-year-old man, a resident of Rabat, while driving a Skoda Rapid, collided with a parked Fiat Punto and Peugeot 206, coming to a stop on the front facade of a nearby home.

A man who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident immediately provided medical assistance to the driver while an ambulance team was called.

Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after at the scene.

Magistrate Gianella Busuttil was informed of the case and initiated an inquiry to establish the cause of death. Police investigations are still ongoing.
