A 57-year-old man from Fontana has lost his life after falling from a ladder in Gozo.

Police were informed of the incident which took place at 9.45am today in a farm in the limits of Victoria.

A medical team went immediately to the scene to assist but unfortunately the man was certified dead on site.

Magistrate Simone Grech is leading an inquiry while police investigations are ongoing.
