Man Dies After Traffic Argument Turns Into Fatal Shooting
A 53-year-old man from Bidnija died this morning after allegedly being shot by another man during an argument over a traffic incident.
The incident, which marks the first homicide of 2025, took place at around 8am in Triq tal-Konkos, Bidnija.
According to TVMNews, the argument broke out between two drivers who live in the same area. One of them allegedly went home to retrieve a firearm and shoot the other.
The victim attempted to drive himself to the hospital, according to TVMNews. A LESA officer happened to be nearby working on another traffic incident at the time.
Police soon arrested the other man as they currently search for weapons in the nearby fields.
