Man Dies In Tragic Ħaż-Żebbuġ Traffic Accident
A 32-year-old man from Luqa has tragically died in a two-car traffic accident in Ħaż-Zebbuġ.
The traffic accident occurred at around 10pm on Triq L-Imdina, Ħaż-Żebbuġ where a Honda Civic driven by the victim collided with a Renault Captur driven by a 57-year-old man from Dingli.
In the victim’s car, there was a 28-year-old female passenger from Attard.
The victims were given first aid by a medical team and Civil Protection personnel and transferred to Mater Dei Hospital by Ambulance, the 32-year-old man was certified dead shortly after.
The 57-year-old man sustained grievous injuries and the woman’s condition is still unknown.
Magistrate Antoine Agius Bonnici was notified and an inquiry was set up. Police investigations are ongoing.
