Man Fighting For His Life After Experiencing Difficulty While Swimming In Daħlet Qorrot
A 39-year-old man is at risk of dying after experiencing difficulty while swimming in Nadur, Gozo yesterday.
The incident took place at 5.30pm when Police were informed assistance was needed in Daħlet Qorrot.
From initial reports it was revealed the man, who lives in Victoria, experienced some difficulty while swimming and people in the area gave him first aid and brought him to shore.
The man received medical assistance and was transported to Gozo General Hospital by ambulance and was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Magistrate Simone Grech is leading an inquiry and police investigations are ongoing.
